PROJECT GAMBIA

You may be aware that each year staff and pupils from Ridgewood High School fly out to Gambia to carry out volunteer work.  This year Miss Jones, from Year 2, from will be joining them once again.  They are looking to take the following items with them.  If you feel you are able to donate any of these items, please drop them off at the School Office.

ANY Art and crafty type things: tissue paper, paint, glue, sequins, glitter, feathers, glue - pritt stick type, art brushes felt, etc.

Sports equipment - balls, bats, badminton stuff, Frisbees, small balls, footballs.

Felt pens, crayons, pencil crayons.

Pens, scissors, stickers.

Paintbrushes.

Hair accessories.

Balloons, bubbles.

Nail Varnish.

Wool.

Facepaints.

A4 card and paper. - white & coloured.

Maths sets, sharpeners, rulers, etc

Needle and tapestry thread.

Disposable plastic cups.

Paper plates.

Lollies/sweets.

The Methodist Special School they visit also need baby wet wipes so these would also be appreciated.

Any children’s clothes or small gifts that can used as presents would also be useful.

Home Bargains, Poundland/World, The Works have lots of resources that can be used.
