Breakfast and After School Club

 

Welcome to the Peters Hill Primary School Breakfast and After School Club. We are pleased to extend the school day with a fun, safe, and enriching environment for your children. Our aim is to provide high-quality, reliable childcare that supports our Peters Hill families, offers engaging activities, and ensures every child feels happy, secure, and valued.


Breakfast Club Aims

  • To provide a warm, calm, and supervised environment where children feel secure and supported, easing the transition from home to school.
  • To offer a nutritious and balanced breakfast, adhering to recommended food standards, ensuring children are energised and ready to learn.
  • To create opportunities for positive social interaction, collaboration, and play with peers across different year groups.
  • To offer reliable and flexible pre-school childcare options, assisting parents and carers with their work-life balance and daily routines.
  • To ensure children arrive in class feeling settled, well-fed, and mentally prepared for the day ahead.

 

After School Club Aims

  • To provide a safe and secure environment where children can relax and enjoy themselves.
  • To offer a wide range of engaging activities that stimulate creativity, encourage physical activity, and support social development.
  • To foster independence and build self-esteem through positive interactions and opportunities for choice.
  • To support parents with reliable and affordable childcare provision.
  • To ensure continuity of care from the school day, with consistent staff who know our pupils.

 

Breakfast Club

Operating Days: Monday to Friday (term time only).

Opening Times: 7:30 AM – 8:35 AM.

Cost: The current cost for attending the Breakfast Club is £4.00 per child, per session.

 

After School Club

Operating Days: Monday to Friday (term time only).

Opening Times: 3:15 PM – 6:00 PM

Cost: The current cost for attending the After School Club from 3:15 PM – 6:00 PM is £9.00 per child, per session. Part sessions up to 4.30pm are available for £5 per child, per session.

 

Eligibility

The Peters Hill Breakfast and After School Club is available to all pupils currently attending Peters Hill Primary School, from Reception to Year 6.
